I slept in until the afternoon, attempting to catch up from the poor night bus sleep. Instead I just ended up with a bad crick in my neck, and missing the only good weather of the day.

The rest of day was ugly, cold and rainy, and nobody in the hostel was particularly proactive about venturing anywhere. For the most part, we all stayed in, watched some more movies, played some pool and ate some terrible delivery food (in reality, there never was a good reason to try lasagna in Colombia).

Robby and Anna made plans to go to Bogota for a few days before Anna’s departure back to England (after 11 months on the road!). They’d be leaving very early the next morning so we said our goodbyes (though I’m pretty certain I’ll be meeting back up with Robby in a few days) and went to bed.

Getting to spend most of the last 3 weeks with Alec, Robby and Anna has been fantastic. I couldn’t ask for better companions. As amazing as these travels have been, it’s the people that really make the experience.
