The weather today has been rough. It’s been alternating between downpours and brutal heat. I walked around a bit, caught up on email and such and just relaxed in the hotel room.
In fact, the day ended up as one of my laziest yet. I mostly stayed in the AC and caught up on sleep. At some point, I joined my current travelmates in some beachfront revelry. Frankly, it’s a bit sad that the closest thing I did to any kind of activity was drinking beer and eating a burger.
Placencia is a beautiful place, but there’s not a whole lot going on. Believe it or not, I think I’ve had a bit much of the coast and I’m ready to go inland a bit.
We shall see what tomorrow brings…
Shana Tova, Ben…. miss you!

Isn’t it tough ‘to go inland’ on the narrowest strip of land between Anchorage and Argentina?

I’ve got my Jimmy Buffet music ready to go so let’s have your next installment of your most excellent adventure.
